As per the recent regulation implemented by MAWANI, Shipping Agents are not allowed to collect the container deposit from cargo receivers with effect from 18th October 2020.
Therefore, in order to improve and minimise the release process time and following MAWANI new regulations, CGL Saudi Arabia is glad to announce that No Container Deposit facility has been implemented for all shipments inbound to Saudi Arabia.
The following process will be followed to release the D/O.
- Broker has to submit LOU on their registered company letterhead.
- LOU will be valid for 365 days from the date of issuance.
- LOU should be chambered by the Saudi Chamber of Commerce.
